Media Relations Executive Humanistic Cultural Development Department
  • Addressing media requests, collating the necessary details and evaluating to upkeep the positive image of the Foundation
  • Proactively keeping abreast of developments and new initiatives by the subsidiaries of the Foundation to identify and publicise newsworthy developments
  • Pitching stories, setting up interviews and negotiating media angles
  • Supporting media at events and coordinating of RSVP
  • Writing of press release, media invitation, speech of spokesperson in English
  • Writing of English news article, which features the stories of volunteers and any related social issues within the scope of the Foundation
  • Vetting of English translated articles by volunteers or staffs
  • Updating and maintaining quality media database
  • Monitoring relevant media clippings and distribution
  • Organising news conferences, media briefings and events as and when required
  • Assisting in crisis management
  • Assisting in volunteer training in media relations affairs
  • Assisting with the production of the annual report
  • Performing other administrative duties
  • Possess at least a bachelor in mass communications, journalism, marketing or related discipline, or with minimum 2 years’ working experience in related field.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English, with at least basic spoken Mandarin (Need to liaise Chinese Associate) 
  • Possess good situational judgement and critical thinking skills
  • Proactive and meticulous; able to work well independently and in a team
  • Have an interest or passion in working for an NGO or a VWO

Preschool Teacher Tzu Chi Foundation (Singapore) - Tzu Chi Great Love PreSchool
  • Nurture and educate children from 18 months - 6 years
  • Ensure well-being of the children in the centre especially safety and development
  • Assess the needs of the children
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids and conduct lessons
  • Record children's daily routine
  • Communicate regularly with parents
  • Posses Diploma in Early Childhood Care or equivalent recognized by ECDA
  • Good communications skill
  • Able to work well with Children and Families
  • Familiar with Child Care Act and Regulation.

Preschool Teacher Assistant Tzu Chi Foundation (Singapore) - Tzu Chi Great Love PreSchool
  • Assists teacher in preparing and presenting lesson plans, materials or programmes to children in a one-to-one or group setting.
  • Assists in monitoring and supervising the children in the classroom, on field trips, meal times and other activities.
  • Assists in monitoring the class when teacher is occupied.
  • Assists children in routine and transition
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Required to have a minimum training requirement of the Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education, WSQ Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education or ITE Higher Certificate in Early Childhood Education

  • Organised, meticulous and able to multi-task
  • Willing to learn, takes initiative, team player
  • Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
